We all want to be healthy as long as possible.
What foods shouldn't eat on an empty stomach?

Yogurt, a cup of coffee, and fresh orange juice this is what most people probably
picture when they think of a perfect breakfast. Unfortunately, only a few people
are aware that some foods are not very good for us if eaten on an empty stomach.

1. Citrus. Many people like to eat in the morning oranges or grapefruits, but they can
cause problems. It turns out that citrus fruits can irritate the esophagus,
especially when eaten on an empty stomach.

2. Bananas. This item can surprise many, however bananas really are not a good
choice for the first product used in the morning. Bananas can cause a jump in
the level of magnesium in your blood, which can lead to heart problems.

3. Yogurt. Many people, trying to make a healthy breakfast, start with yogurt.
But it turns out that you should not do this. If you eat yogurt on an empty stomach,
it will not hurt you. It just will not give you all those beneficial effects that you will get
if you eat it after anything else. Lactic acid bacteria, contained in yogurt and bringing
you an impressive benefit, perish in the hydrochloric acid contained
in your stomach, if you have not eaten anything else before.

4. Bakery products. Buns and croissants, although they are very tasty,
can cause problems if you eat them on an empty stomach.
Many types of baking contain a type of yeast, which irritates
the mucous membrane of the stomach, causing increased gas formation. In addition,
the purchase of baked goods often contains processed sugar, which can cause problems with the liver.

5. Cold carbonated drinks. Most people are more likely to know that
they do not need to drink soda at breakfast, but in some cases people drink
it if they do not have coffee, since it is a good source of caffeine.
However, if you drink cold carbonated drinks on an empty stomach,
it can damage the gastric mucosa, slowing digestive processes.

6. Tomatoes. You should not eat tomatoes on an empty stomach,
especially if you have acid reflux or a stomach ulcer.
Tomatoes are rich in tannic acid, because of which the level of acidity
in your stomach will increase, exacerbating reflux
and bringing a feeling of severe discomfort.

7. Cucumbers. Most people do not eat vegetables for breakfast, but if you do decide,
you should carefully choose them. Fresh vegetables, such as cucumbers,
have a positive effect on your overall health.
But if you eat them first in the morning, it can lead to pain in the stomach,
heartburn, increased gas production and general discomfort.
